2025 Capital Project
The Board has been working hard this year to get organized around a capital project for this upcoming year and we are excited to share with you where we are at. We are focusing this capital project on the pool, we need to replace the cooping (the white tiles around the edge of the pool) the pool marker tiles (blue tiles around the top edge of the pool) and the pool deck (all the cement between the pool and the club house, including around the back by the outdoor bathroom doors and the walk way out the back gate).
Below are links to each company we received estimates from, the board has met and discussed the pros and cons, we have narrowed the selection down to 2 options. Below are projects and the estimates we have received. We think it's important to continue to share the process with you now, give you an opportunity to get involved if you would like. As we work through the process we will continue to communicate with our members. We are at the point where we have to get buy in for the projects so we can get on schedules for next year prior to the pool opening.
While we were working on this project we also discovered the pool had a leak, we had American leak protection come out and pressure test all our drains, skimmers and lights. They found 2 leaks, a large leak in the wading pool in the skimmer and one leak in the main pool around the lights. You can read the full report here>>
We are open for member input on the estimates. There is a lot of details below for you to review.
You can provide feedback, ask a question, request to participate in the process on the MCC FY25 Capital Project Feedback form >>

NEXT STEPS:
The board has narrowed the list down to 2 contractors, Western Pools and Ken's. We have outstanding questions we are working on getting answered.
After the board receives feedback we will decide on which company to move forward with.
IMPORTANT: As we move forward and decide on a contractor the board will need to present a vote to the members to authorize the board to spend the funds to pay for this project.

- What is the need for drilling the hole in the bottom of the pool? "In the absence of a static relief valve or under drain piping to control ground water pressure, it is typical to drill relief hole in the pool bottom."
- How will your company handle scaffolding, will you need to drill holes in the plaster?
- What type of work warranty do you offer and for how long after the project is complete?
- When can we get on your schedule? We need to pool to be open by May 30, 2025
- What does the demo process look like, how much access can members have during the construction?
